Anaconda choke video I did for the gym. The hand grips I use are a little different than the way I was originally shown when learning this move years ago.

This is a fantastic video if you have either A) short arms or B) limited rotation in your shoulder like myself.
For years I have been neck-cranking the hell out of people trying to anaconda choke them. Sure I got the tap, but it wasn’t exactly nice.
I showed a few friends at my club this technique yesterday, because of how expertly it was shown in this video. So I decided to repost it for anyone that hasn’t seen it.
Much respect to this Chewy fella, he’s clearly a ninja.
I like how you’ve broken that down, immensely. I’ll try it next time I train and report back, as I’ve struggled with the anaconda for years.
Hope it works for ya brother. I used to have a lot of trouble locking it up because of my short arms. Hope the adjustment works out for you.
Hey Chewy. IT WORKED. I showed a few of the other guys too, and they were impressed by it’s simplicity too. Thank you.
Nice! I’m glad it worked. Have you hit it during training yet? Also thanks for passing the video around. I appreciate it.
I’ll have another arm triangle video posted in the next couple of days.
I haven’t attempted it whilst sparring yet, because I’ve been working on a few other things but I’ll let you know when I do.
Alright, good luck! 🙂
