Today’s video is a short one about a word that people call Jiu-jitsu that makes me cringe.

The other day on social media I posted about how I hate it when people call Jiu-jitsu “jits” or “jitz” and I got several questions as to why that is. Well in the video I’ll explain why.

And I’m curious as to whether or not you dislike the word like I do or if you use it yourself. This isn’t a wrong or right thing. Just is. But I’m curious. So, watch the video and share your thoughts in the comments.

    I hate it also! People do it with everything though. Like they are too lazy to speak a full word. Let’s just stop speaking in text messages.

    I use it, I think out of pure laziness. I don’t associate it with anything negative myself, but I can see where you’re coming from.

    Off topic…I have a childhood friend that also has the legal name: Nick Albin. Love you youtube stuff!
